"My father passed away when I was 12 years old. I have four brothers and three sisters. Our life became miserable after my father died. We moved from one place to another, looking for food and shelter, but it seemed like nobody accepted or loved us. I stopped going to school because I needed to help my mother earn money just to feed my younger brothers and sister. I worked in a rice mill an assistant. One day I was asked to stay at Manna Home for Children and at long last I found a real home. Because we are not used to discipline at home as my mother always away from home looking for money, for me its hard to be in MHFC. We need to wake up early to pray and did our daily assignment before going to school like cleaning the comfort rooms which I hated the most. Sometimes, I felt lonely thinking of my mother and my younger sister and younger brother; if they have food in their table, but God comforted me. I learned to play a guitar and the times I felt lonely, I sang to the Lord. Eventually, I became a guitarist in the church. I love singing and playing the guitar. I thank the Lord for MMI. I graduated from high school last year. I just pray that God will use people to help me enroll in college next year. As of now I am not in school. I just want to thank Jake and Kathy Hintz and their Bible Study group who supported me for four years. God will richly bless you MMI. Keep up the good work." Marco Jay Tindog from Palawan PHILIPPINES
