Interim Executive Director - Tony Giesbrecht Tony and his wife Catherine, both of whom are Board Members of Manna Ministries International, have been the Peru field leaders and have had involvement in the other fields as well.
Office Administrator- Belinda Carlaw Belinda has been with Manna Ministries since April 2005. Over her years with Manna Ministries, she has seen the impact Manna has had on thousands of people, not only with the Gospel but also through practical help, such as medical clinics, giving supplies to schools, providing bicycles for Pastors, and drums for churches. Belinda sees Manna’s vision to train and educate locals to reach their own people as paramount to her view of missions. Belinda came prepared for her work at Manna Ministries with experience in administrative work at Friendship Baptist Church in Coquitlam and Missions Fest Vancouver.

Field Directors
Philippines – PABC’s Director - Pancho Villa As the Director of Palawan Association of Bible Churches, Pancho Villa travels hundreds of kilometers with his motorbike every month, caring for churches without Pastors or who are in transition. Pastor Pancho is a great evangelist, church planter, and preacher, initiating and conducting evangelistic campaigns and founding churches. He is a single parent and very committed to his two teenage girls who he is raising himself.
Peru - Tony and Catherine Giesbrecht Tony started serving regularly as a short-term missionary with Manna Ministries in 1993, fulfilling a teenage dream to spread the Gospel to unreached peoples. He loves being in the field and seeing firsthand the effect of the Gospel and care on peoples’ lives. When the opportunity came for Manna Ministries to work in Peru, he wholeheartedly joined the team and has been a leader in Manna Ministries work in that region since 2004. Catherine has been an enthusiastic partner in his work, joining him in encouraging local leaders and teaching young people.
North India – Sajal Basumata Sajal Basumata was born and brought up in a Christian family, attending Church, Sunday School, conferences, and other children programs. At about 10 years of age, he accepted Christ as his savior in response to a conference speaker. Sajal has been involved in evangelism since he was a teenager as part of the high school evangelism teams. He went on to Bible College and now lives in the northern part of West Bengal leading MMI’s national partner, North India Ministries. The vision to impact one million with the Gospel originated with Sajal’s enthusiasm for evangelism.
South India - Suresh Vemulapalli Pastor Suresh and his wife Roja coordinate Manna Ministries work in South Central India as Directors of India Village Ministries (Manna’s national partners in that region). As converts to Christianity from Hinduism, Pastor Suresh left his profession as a civil engineer to dedicate himself to full time evangelistic service. He has a Bachelor of Divinity from Bible Seminary in India, and a Masters in Theology and PhD in New Testament from Aberdeen University, Scotland. The Vemulapalli’s returned to their home country to serve in rural India and have reached out to their community with a Children’s Home, Women’s Sewing Training Centre and Bible Training School
