Since its inception in 1982, Manna Ministries has emphasized the value of Biblical training for newly planted churches around the world. Along the way, MMI have started and supported a diverse number of Bible training programs to provide the needed Biblical
basis for national leaders of new church-plants.

• In The Philippines Manna Bible College has produced over 45 leaders for the Palawan Association of Bible Churches (PABC)
• In Peru, more than 30 leaders have been taught in Bible training classes in cooperation with Huaraz Baptist Church.
• Training continues in South Central and North India where our Bible training is reaching about 20 young men and women per year, who will one day be ministering in various positions in the newly planted churches.

Starting in 2011, thanks to a new partnership with BILD International, Manna Ministries will be able to provide accredited, in-training and church-based Biblical education for a new generation of leaders.

Our principles in oversees Biblical training are:

• As with all other aspects of Christian ministry, the Church needs to be at the center of any Biblical training. In that way, character, skills, and academics are integrated into a hands-on, apprenticeship type training and development under a qualified and proven
minister of the Gospel within a community context.

• Biblical training needs to be naturally linked with the church planting movement, finding its identity and purpose in building up the local Church. The ultimate purpose of Biblical training must be multiplying and establishing local churches rather than academic development.
